Visa

No consular visa is required for stays of 30 days (extendable to 90 days) for passport holders from the following countries: Andorra, Antigua And Barbuda, Argentina, Australia*, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark*, Dominica, El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France*, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Islands, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Marshall, Mauritius, Mexico, Micronesia, Monaco, Montenegro, Nauru, Netherlands*, New Zealand*, Northern Mariana Islands, Norway*, Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines, Samoa, San Marino, São Tomé and Príncipe, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapur, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Spain, Surinam, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Tuvalu, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom*, United States of America*, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Vatican, Venezuela. *Includes dependencies and territories.

Citizens of the countries not mentioned above are required to have a consular visa when entering Costa Rica. Please visit www.migracion.go.cr for the full list of requirements andcorresponding forms.

Vaccination

No vaccination is mandatory to enter Costa Rica, however we suggest that all participants check with their national health authorities if they are required any vaccinations or precautionary measures.


Transport

Transportation to/from the official point of entry for this event will be done by bus from SJO international airport to San Carlos (1h30 to 2h00 travel time).

Transfers to the competition venues will be done a by shuttle bus system – timetables are currently being prepared and will be shared with participating delegations as soon as confirmed.

Delegations with more than 5 participants will have a car at their disposal for the event activities.

Entry point

The official point of entry for this event is Juan Santamaría Internacional Airport (SJO).

Delegations travelling by land will be welcomed according to their arrival times in San Carlos.

Catering

Meals will be served at the University Restaurant that seats 400 persons, and is ISO 22000 (food safety management) and ISO 9001 (quality management) certified. Meals will be served in buffet style and at times best suited according to the competition schedule.
